cut out the dead wood too many administrators spend time outside the classroom and yet they think they are current in their field..sorry, but giving presentations to other district teachers does not count.

Everything should have limits No-one should have their job indefinitely and they have more accountability as to their performance to keep a position.

Administrator is an important job Administrators should have unlimited tenure in their positions. I used to be an admin. but I find teaching very rewarding. All I have to do is wait for the dept. chair to make a mistake & I will take my rightful position back.
