We need to understand the new generation The new generation of students have grown up with technology at their fingertips. They are much more comfortable with these tools and know how to utlize them.

Is it? Probably not. Can it? Certainly. The problem is, as was already mentioned many teachers aren''t always being trained to use it effectively. Secondly, I fear that it may be used as a crutch by some teachers. Good low technology fundamentals need to be the core, technology merely as a supplement to that.

It isn''t being fully utlized. Most schools are putting the technology into the classroom but not following it up with the proper teacher training to show us the best way to integrate it into the teaching.
