Who is TotalESL.com?
TotalESL.com is a private ESL/EFL site designed and maintained by educators and educational administrators. It was launched in July 2005 with the aim of bringing together students, parents, teachers and schools involved in all aspects of ESL (English as a Second Language) and EFL (English as a Foreign Language. The site was designed as an information sharing site that everyone contributes to and is free to all users.
Why should I join TotalESL.com?
Because it is a free, professional alternative to what is currently available. The strengths of TotalESL are its visually appealing, user-friendly design and broad scope in that it offers multiple categories with numerous search features. Also, it is not for data mining purposes in order to build a big mailing list that I can sell so they don’t have to worry about posting information.
Are there any fees to use TotalESL.com?
There are absolutely no costs or fees involved in using or posting on TotalESL.com. The only fees would be if you wanted to actually advertise/sponsor TotalESL.com which you can get more information about by clicking here.
Why do I need to sign up as a TotalESL User?
You must create a User account to be able to do the following on TotalESL.com:
*Post your resume in a teacher profile.
*Post a job ad or school information.
*Create your own blog.
How do I sign up as a TotalESL User?
The only information required to sign up is a username, email address and wheather you are a teacher/student or school/organization. You can sign up by clicking here.

To edit your posting, you must first log into the site. When you have logged in you can either:
-go directly to the posting and click on the edit button; or
-after you have logged in there will be some user choices at the top of the right hand column on the site. One of the choices will be to 'View Your Postings'. Find the posting you would like to edit on your list and click edit.

Do you have embassy contact information or country information on TotalESL.com?
For every country in the world, we have a country page which will include a map, country information, embassy contacts within the country, weather reports, latest news and the last 5 jobs, resumes or schools to have posted for that country. To view our country pages, visit our interactive map.
Can I share lesson plans with other TotalESL.com Users?
Absolutely! When TotalESL.com was first created, it was envisioned as an information sharing site which included a lesson plan database for teachers to share their work and therefore make everyones life a little easier. To share a lesson (or find a lesson), please visit our lessons page.
How do I sign up for a free TotalESL User Blog?
First you must create a TotalESL User account and log into TotalESL.com, then you go back to the Blogs Page, click on create a blog and just follow the 3 easy steps.
