Current Openings for English and French Teachers are available in the Preschool & Elementary Divisions with 16 - 25 teaching hours per week in the DA- AN District or SHI- LIN/ TIEN- MU District, set classes, fixed schedule, single work location.
Big Byte welcomes native English speakers with a Bachelor's Degree to apply for teaching positions. We offer a one year contract with an ARC/Work Permit, National Health Insurance and Labor Insurance, stable work environment, a fixed schedule with set classes and a single work location.

Class size & Age/Level Group: Our classes are grouped by age (from 3 to 15) and level (from Nursery to Grade 9 as in Native Speaking Countries). In all classes, at all branches the class size is limited to 12 students, who are supervised solely by one Native English or French speaking teacher inside the classroom.

Class Hours & English Environment: For English Program – (1) Preschool Div. Full- Day 20~25 Hrs., Mon.~Fri., per week. (2) Elementary Div. 16~20 Hrs. or possibly more per week on weekday afternoons. Big Byte was established more than 10 years ago and has eight branches throughout Taipei. It is an English working environment, which applies to all students, all staff and all documents as well. Detailed and set curriculum, fixed classes, block hours or more, consistent and committed policy are provided to the team of cross- cultural staff. Teachers and staff who have interest in a longer term career in teaching in Taiwan, have opportunities to become involved in projects and to learn and grow.

Requirements: Teachers need to be a native English speaker (or French speaker for French teaching positions) with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree. A degree in Education or a TESOL/TEFL certificate is a plus, as is local teaching experience.
