A busy British Council Accredited language school in Fulham - London is looking for a qualified and talented Director of Studies.
The successful candidate would be responsible for supervision and supporting of the team of EFL Teachers and ensuring the smooth running of both the academic and administrative aspects of all English Language Courses. We require an experienced ELT professional to be responsible for the effective running of the academic programmes, ensuring maximum quality, efficiency and students' satisfaction. Accountable for course direction, course development, syllabus reviews and development, evaluation, timetabling, development and control of teaching resources, and the management and professional development of teaching staff, they would also liaise closely with the marketing/office manager and other members of the management on a daily basis.
Candidates must be educated to a degree level or equivalent (ie a minimum of a Diploma, PGCE, MA in Linguistics or related subjects etc), TEFLQ and have previous experience in ELT management. Three years of previous experience as a Director of Studies would be an advantage. Academically and commercially minded, with experience of managing staff, candidates must possess excellent interpersonal, IT and administrative skills.
The position of Director of Studies is offered on a full-time permanent basis, subject to successful completion of the probationary period. We offer competitive salary dependent on qualifications and previous experience, 28 days of holidays, and other benefits.
