You are fully credentialed or certified for your position in your native country and maintain both teaching excellence and credentials throughout employment. Since you will work in an international, bilingual school, you are familiar with our school program, the Primary Years Programme. Apart from organizational skills, assertiveness and a sense of responsibility, you possess strong communication skills and motivation to collaborate. With passion and dedication, you make children enthusiastic about their learning. As a growing school, we are always looking for teacher leaders who are self-reflective about their teaching practices. Three or more years of classroom teaching and experience in the Primary School Programme is preferred.
You are able to:
-Provide innovative, differentiated, inquiry-based learning experiences to your students
-Prepare written lesson and unit plans with clear instructional objectives based on the principles of backwards design
-Provide constructive feedback and ideas for the improvement of student learning in the school
-Actively support and promote the school’s philosophy, mission, and goals
-Work cooperatively with colleagues and administrators in curriculum design, assessment and implementation as it pertains to specific grade levels and programs
-Assist fellow teachers and administrators in planning for school growth
-Communicate with parents about the progress of their children
-Communicate with students about their learning
-Attend staff meetings and professional development activities
-Make provisions for special needs and learning styles of students
-Participate in school sponsored events and activities
