American/Canadian female English language teacher needed in Yamagata, Japan.
The Academy of Language Arts is opening its brand new school, with a very nice large newly constructed building, in a clean, and newly created neighborhood.
Teachers to be considered for this position must be stable, have prior English language teaching experience. Preference will be given to those that intend to keep their position long-term.
If you're already in Japan great! However, we will consider qualified applicants that are not currently residing in Japan.
We use the best teaching material and have spent thousands of dollars on the best supplementary teaching materials, games, etc.
You would be teaching all levels of English courses, mostly children classes. Our preference will be to choose someone that has experience teaching TOEIC, and is very creative in their lessons.
We will provide a large apartment with electric, water, and gas, very close to the school. Our school has high-speed wireless internet service.
Our environment is upper-level casual, fun, and warm. We do our best to make a great environment for our teachers and students. In that, we expect you to be a professional, timely and prepared.
We are close to the train station. Having a bike is great, but if you desire a car, one of our partners is in the business of purchasing cars from auctions, and exporting them overseas. Therefore, we can get the best deals on a car for a small sum of money. If we find a teacher that really fits us well, and have formed a trusting relationship, we may even give you a car to use.
You must have an international drives license for the first year driving. Caveat, after the first year you must obtain a Japanese drivers license (which isn't that hard to get). You may not drive in Japan more than one year under an international license. It is illegal and the penalties are very stiff.
We'll only consider non-smokers, as we will not accept teachers that smokes. No exceptions!
Standard renumeration package with bonus and other incentives, apartment included.
If you are responsible, and love this kind of work, this is the best job you could ever have in Japan!
