Our client is an established company based in the Chubu region of Japan. Our client’s goal is to provide the highest quality Assistant Language Teachers to public schools in the Chubu and Kansai regions which will then provide the best experience for all the students, customers, and the ALT’s themselves. Location: Predominantly in the Chubu region with some positions in Kansai and Hiroshima areas of Japan
Salary: 240,000 yen to 255,000 yen per month
Contract Length: One year contract with possibility of renewal

Basic Job Description:
ALT’s will be teaching in public elementary and junior high schools in a cooperative manner with a Japanese English teacher. Teachers will assist with planning lessons, leading class activities, supporting the Japanese teachers and are encouraged to participate in daily school life and various school events.
Basic Requirements:
a)University Degree (in any discipline however Japanese, Asian Studies, Teaching etc are preferred)
b)Native English speaker
c)ESL/EFL teaching experience in Japan or ESL/EFL certification ie. TESL, TEFL or CELTA certificate
d) At least basic Japanese language ability
e)No criminal record
f)Professional, committed, motivated, and adaptable
*TESL/TEFL Certificates favorable, but not necessary
