Teach English for a Well Established Private Language School in Japan
Our client is an established company that provides English education to students of all ages, and all across Japan from the southern areas of Kyushu to the northern areas of Hokkaido. There are about 50 schools across Japan with most of them being independently owned as a franchise. They have an excellent centralized support system for teachers, provides great working conditions, helpful teacher resources, and a support network that sets a very high standard. Our client’s goal is to “contribute to the internationalization of Japan through a grass roots method of education.” Our client is not only focused on teaching English and cross cultural communication, but they are focused on results and continuous improvement.
Location: Across Japan – Teachers Must Be Flexible!
Salary: 250,000 yen plus contract completion bonus
Contract Length: One year contract with possibility of renewal
Possible Start Date: Fall 2010
Basic Job Description:
General Duties
• Teaching English conversation to children and adults using textbooks, our client’s own teaching materials, and the teacher’s own creativity and style.
• Creating lesson plans
• Conversing with students and parents outside of class.
• Participating in school events.
• Providing demonstration lessons for potential students and parents
Basic Requirements:
a)University Degree in any discipline
b)Native English speaker
c)Teaching experience preferred
e)Young, bright, eager
*Candidates must be able to pay for their own airfare
*Candidates must be flexible with their placement location in Japan
