Lesson Description:	An unusual topic for a lesson, but nevertheless, a global issue. Topic-related phrases and idiomatic expressions are introduced in a gap-fill exercise and practised in conversation. Stimulating quizzes expand the students' knowledge of rats in general. Discussion questions include: "How much of the world's food crop do rats damage each year? Would you like to get out of the rat race?"
