TeacherLMS.com is a free open learning management system (LMS) donated to the ESL/TEFL/TESOL community.  The site is maintained by TotalESL.com and TESall.com with a combined online service to the ESL/EFL/TEFL community of 10 years.

 

The system is ATutor Learning Management System with some basic upgrades such as image verification for site security and HTML email formatting for the email system. 

The other changes were for teachers to make the system easier to use.  They include:

Manage Course Commands are now a “quick pick menu” in the upper left column.

Menu Tab Functions now have the commands in a sub-tool bar menu.

5 pre-HTML formatted page templates for easy course content creation.

File upload and storage in an online filing system (both private and public) for worksheets, answer sheets, course rules.

   -Can include student work submissions in an assignment folder

Photo upload and storage (private and public) for course diagrams, images and video.

Courses are searchable by instructor name and category (Grade 3 Math, Grade 8 English, etc.)

Automated ticket system for reporting any errors or ask for help.

Separate registration for Instructors and students.

Email notifications of messages, posts and student request for joining course.

Notification of email from students into your personal inbox delivered to whatever email address you wish (no private email disclosed)
