As a recent graduate of Le Moyne College, I am interested in acquiring a position working as an english teacher in a country other than the United States.  With the previous knowledge I’ve gained from working with children and my past experience studying abroad in Australia, I think that this is a position that I will perform well in.  

The desire to help others in any way possible is a goal that I’ve had for as long as I can remember.   Working with children is something that I have especially enjoyed and I would love for the chance to be able to continue helping children in any way possible.  Working at the YCMA day camp and various babysitting jobs I have had throughout the years have shown me how fun and rewarding it is to work with children. 

Throughout high school and in my first few years of college, I had the opportunity to study Spanish as a second language.  Unfortunately my schedule as a biology major with a psychology minor did not allow me the time to continue studying Spanish, although one day I hope to be able to go back to it.  The experience of learning another language is something that I greatly cherished though, and has shown me how important it is for people of any age to learn a second language.  I would love to be able to give other people the same opportunity that I was given. 

My experience traveling to Australia leads me to believe that I would love this opportunity to teach in another country.  I greatly enjoyed the chance to travel and be immersed in a different culture, and I hope to be able to do the same in many other countries.
