For the months of June and July, Teaching House will offer CELTA Teacher Training courses at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. Situated atop historic Beacon Hill, Suffolk is a small university in the

heart of the city that offers an intimate sense of community amidst the hustle and bustle of the major political and financial district of Boston. Famous sites like Boston Common, the State House, Quincy, Market, and the Public Garden are just a brief walk away, and all four of the MBTA subway lines are easily accessed from campus.

The university offers 24-hour security staff, as well as a library, computer labs, and lounges for optimal student convenience. All classrooms have been recently renovated, and are equipped with the necessary chairs, desks, whiteboards, and projector facilities to successfully run a CELTA classroom.

Successful trainees of our courses are awarded a University of Cambridge CELTA, which stands for Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults. CELTA certificate courses are administered by the University of Cambridge and run at language centers all over the world. Each course follows a curriculum designed by Cambridge University. To complete the course and achieve CELTA certification, candidates must fulfill certain requirement as set out by the CELTA curriculum.
