Welcome to Total ESL – Total ESL is the resource for ESL TEFL TESOL teaching jobs and Teacher Training Courses as well as ESL teacher resumes, ESL schools, ESL private tutors, blogs, resources, lesson plans, articles and more! Welcome, enjoy your visit and best of luck teaching English abroad
My name is Ranjeeta and I'm from India. I have studied English all my life as my first language in school, graduation, and post-graduation. In fact, my vocabulary is impeccable. I have recently completed the CELTA from IH Bangkok and I am waiting for my grade. I am currently residing in Bangkok (until the end of September).
I was excited to know about the opportunity of teaching English and feel good that you consider hiring non-native proficient English speakers too. I am confident that I would make an excellent addition to your teaching team because of my passion for helping students, my teaching and cultural experiences, and my CELTA qualifications.
I have taught as a part-time English teacher for 6 years in India’s biggest national open university IGNOU.
I'm equipped with the Communicative Teaching Method. I would love to apply this method in the classroom through interactive, student-centered activities that maximize “student talk time.” I scaffold my lessons so that they include pair and group work, as well as moving around the classroom. I wish to engage students in speaking, grammar, writing, listening, and reading and appealing to diverse learning styles which will help them improve their accuracy and fluency across key skill areas.
I understand both the excitement and the challenges that accompany learning a new language and living abroad. I understand the difficulty of learning a new foreign language and I believe it is of utmost importance to teach English scientifically which I believe I am very equipped with.
I look forward to speaking with you to discuss your specific needs and my ability to meet them. Please feel free to contact me at +66-993988407 or dutta.
